ROBOTICS
THE OFFICIAL STUDENT-RUN ROBOTICS CLUB AT WILFRID LAURIER UNIVERSITY
Laurier Robotics is a computer science based student organization dedicated to exploring the exciting world of robotics. Whether you are an incoming CS major, about to graduate next year, or even if you aren't a CS major at all, everyone is welcome here! Our club seeks to provide students with hands-on opportunities in robotics, physical computing, electronics, & more.
Intro to Arduino: Microcontrollers, breadboarding, blink LEDs, buttons, buzzers, and basic sensors & other peripherals
Basics of Robotics: Build a simplistic but interactive Arduino car with motors, drivers, and basic obstacle avoidance
Computer Vision & Robotics: Automate & control your robot, more advanced obstacle avoidance, collision detection, path detection
+ much more to come!
Coming soon. Sometime in the winter semester or before next fall, we'll begin hiring members for hardware & software teams to pursue exciting club projects. That being said, keep an eye out if you liked our events and want to go even deeper!
How can I become an official member?
It's nothing complicated, you can simply join our discord & attend events to consider yourself a member! However, if you want to solidify your presence as one, click here to join on the student unions nest application.
How can I become an executive member?
